Jason is a postdoctoral research fellow at the AMBER Centre, University of Dublin, Trinity College
Dublin, specialised in material chemistry, with significant expertise in 3D printing of functional
materials, supramolecular chemistry and luminescent sensing. After completing a PhD in 2021 in
Trinity College Dublin, under the supervision of Prof Thorfinnur Gunnlaugsson, he held a
postdoctoral role in the group of Assoc. Prof. Larisa Florea for the 5D nanoprinting project, an H2020
funded project. In September 2022, he received a 2-year Government of Ireland Postdoctoral
Research Fellowship entitled “Fabrication of 3D Functional Polymeric Scaffold by Two-Photon
Polymerisation for the Real-Time Monitoring of Cell Environment”.
