Behrad is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the National Centre for Sensor Research in DCU, working on the development and validation of the CS Sentinel sensor for water quality measurement. He is passionate about applying engineering techniques to improve the quality of human life on a large scale. During his PhD, which received the Industry Impact Award from Maynooth University, he developed an automated platform for food quality measurement. He also developed and co-patented a social robot, Arash Robot, during his Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Beyond research, Behrad has a strong interest in photography and has received awards for his work.
